Types of tour:
Guided tour and tasting
The tour includes:
- Old underground cellar of Masia Roqueta country house (12th century): Conserved in its original condition, it is one of the jewels in the crown of the area's wine-growing culture and history. It will transport you back in time so you can discover the way of life in the area.
- Museum of the industry and transport: Private collection of the family, dedicated to transport, with the carts, old lorries and tools used in wine production.
- Wine processing room and barrel store.
- Tasting of 3 Abadal wines in our visitors' centre. Wine tasting guided by experts.
The tour and tasting lasts approximately 90 minutes. Wine can be purchased in the winery shop (Visitors' Centre building).
Guided tour: Trail around the vineyard’s Barraques
Journey around the estate, visiting the vineyard’s “barraques” or dry-stone huts, the cultural heritage of the Bages region. Over the course of the trail, you will discover the history of winegrowing in the Bages region and enjoy amazing views of the vineyard and the woods in unique surroundings. At the end of the stroll around the estate, the tour finishes with lunch and wine tasting in our cellar. The trail covers approximately 3 km and lasts an hour and a half (trail, lunch and tasting included). Please wear comfortable shoes.
Personalised tours for groups and individuals
We can also organise personalised tours, adapting for technical (wine growing, oenology) or special (wine matching, landscapes) requirements or making changes in the standard tour trip, so that the spaces you visit are of the utmost interest to you.
A closed group of at least 15 people is required for personalised tours.
